Embrace: A Surreal Journey in Mexico City

The one-man show 'Embrace' by Idiotas Teatro returns to Mexico City, offering an intimate and surreal experience from February 3 to 25 at the Teatro La Capilla.

"Abrazo", the solo performance by Idiotas Teatro, returns to Mexico City after a successful tour and will be presented at Teatro La Capilla from February 3 to 25. Performances will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:00 PM.

The plot revolves around a bird that, carried by a storm, crashes into an abandoned house, unveiling a tragedy related to a woman who longed to become a bird. Created by Fernando Reyes Reyes and directed by Cristian David, "Abrazo" is a solo production that immerses the audience in an intimate and surreal narrative.

Actress Lucina Rojas, with a set design by Edgar Moray and costumes by Azucena Galicia, transports the audience to a dreamlike world where visual and sound elements intertwine in an immersive way. Ticket prices range from $250 to $150 for students, teachers, seniors with INAPAM credentials, and during presale. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or through Boletopolis.

The theatrical proposal invites the audience to dive into a unique and sensory experience, where every detail contributes to the creation of a particular universe that captivates and surprises the viewer. As a summary of this experience, director Cristian David emphasizes: "In 'Abrazo' we have worked to create an intimate and surreal space that connects the audience with deep emotions and reflections on the human condition."
